As released in the Bureau of Labor Statistics report last month, Arizona’s unemployment rate, seasonally adjusted, dropped from 4.1 percent in November to 4.0 percent in December. Not seasonally adjusted, the unemployment rate fell from 3.6 percent in November to 3.2 percent in December.
Locally, according to a newly released Bureau of Labor Statistics report released on February 1, the Tucson metropolitan area unemployment rate (not seasonally adjusted) dropped slightly from 3.4 percent in November to 3.1 percent in December.
